Royaltec has been manufacturing architectural coatings in Madurai since 2012. The factory and the office share one address, which is the short explanation for why we can tell you exactly what goes on your wall and why.

Most paint reaches a customer through a distributor and then a dealer, and each layer takes a margin. We sell what we make, so that money stays in your quote instead of the supply chain. It also means the person recommending a primer is the person who made it.

What we actually make

The range covers a full system rather than one hero product. Preparation comes first, so we make Wall Putty, Crack Filler and the cement primers that go under everything else.

For walls there is Acrylic Economic and the silicone-fortified Signature Acrylic in a matte finish, Matrix Premium where a facade is meant to look glossy, and Weather Shield for exposed elevations.

For metalwork we make Red Oxide Metal Primer, Japan Black Enamel and the NC and enamel thinners matched to each of them.

Built around the wall condition

A finish performs as part of a system. Existing coating, plaster condition, moisture, surface preparation and application all influence the result, so recommendations follow the technical guidance for each product.

This is also why we will not quote from photographs alone. Alkalinity in fresh plaster, salt coming through a damp wall and a chalking old coating all look similar in a picture and need different work.

Where we work, and where we do not

Our crews cover Madurai and Coimbatore, and nowhere else. Chennai and the other Tamil Nadu cities stay off the list until we can put dependable site visits and managed crews there. A painting service is only as good as the crew that turns up, so we would rather serve two cities properly than advertise six.

What we will not do

The before-and-after images on our service pages are photographs of work our own crews have done, shot from the same position before and after so nothing is flattered by a change of angle. We do not publish reviews we cannot verify, and we do not name a customer or an address without their permission. Applicable product or workmanship terms are supplied in writing with their conditions and exclusions.

Who runs Royaltec

Royaltec is run by its two Managing Partners, Mr. Jenish Prithviraj and Mr. Duwell Sam. Each has spent 14 years in paint manufacturing and structural waterproofing. Both still sign off the batches that leave the factory, so the advice you get on a wall comes from the people who made what goes on it.
